Pretty Holiday Sweater
Very pretty, but going by seller's sizing it's still too big for my shih tzu mix and
she doesn't really like the binding behind dog's legs in the back. I shrunk it by letting
it sit in hot water and then put in the dryer...it's now the correct size :) Very pretty for
Christmastime wear.
Love the coat!
Very pretty coat-the detail on the back is very glittery, very pretty and nice and noticeable-well made too. I have a 14.5 lb bichon and got the small/medium. It is a bit big but ok-probably could have gone with a small. The best part about this coat is the colors for the holiday-the black against a white dog is lovely and the design on the back is big and sparkly enough to see well and make it a holiday sweater that is a bit different from all the green/red ones out there...we both love it!

This is totally well made, is beautiful, and has survived one season with my kitty. She wears it proudly around the holidays, and is the toast of the season.

Pets First Pittsburgh Steelers V-Neck Dog Sweater, X-Small

I bought this for my son's Maltipoo, who only weighs 5lbs, but I should have bought the small. The xtra small doesn't cover his entire back, but it will keep him warm just the same.

Sizing is a problem, again
This sweater is very nicely made and cute. The problem is the sizing. My dog is 21” long and 22” in girth. This sweater is sold by length only. It IS 21” long, but it's 28” in girth. WAY too big for my little guy. It was sized for a much bigger dog. I will have to make adjustments to it, without ruining the arm openings. I THINK I can do that, but wish they would put ALL measurements down so we can be confident in our purchases. I bought a sweater from FouFou that is much better in sizing for my little guy, but it cost a fortune! I'm going to start making my own!
Medium/small is quite volumious, very soft
As in the picture this sweater has ample material. On our 15" (from collar to tail) the sweater covers over his hind quarters. Its overall feel is very soft to the touch. The design and color is very nicely done. We have a very trim dog of about 25 pounds and found this sweater bulky and loose fitting. Around the neck and chest there is plenty of extra material. For us thats a plus. He likes comfy so its a keeper.
A little snug, but adorable!
Super cute. Dog hates me for it, but he won't look so mopey when it's snowing and he's toasty in his sweet little sweater!

Fashion Pet Classic Cable Dog Sweater, Pink, Medium

My Bella, the living, breathing pink hot dog!
I swore I would never get "clothes" for my dog, but she caught the flu and she would shake from being cold. I saw this sweater and thought it might help. She is a Beagle/Dauschund mix and has short hair and she absolutely loves it. I believe she thinks of it as an attached blanket, and she loves blankets. She looks like a pink hot dog, but she's warm and that is most important to me. The quality is good, and it stays on her without rolling up or bunching, even without using the hind leg loops. I'm glad I ordered it for her.

Nice dog sweater, fits well, stretches out a bit, but should shrink up with washing, doggy is happy.
Very Cute
I was very impressed with how quickly this was delivered and the quality of the sweater. The pink is a nice shade, stands out but not too bright and the purple detailing around the neck and legs gives a nice designer look. The fit is excellent, nice and snug but not too tight. Will make your dog look like a little angel!

High quality sweater
This sweater is very high quality. It is nicely made and should keep my little sweetheart nice and warm. I had to return it because I ordered a size too big. They were very, very cordial and prompt with this return. This sweater and dealing with this company was super.
Good for small dogs
We have 2 small dogs and this sweater helped keep them warm in the winter. I really like the hind leg straps to keep it in place. When we put it on them, they usually walk a little awkwardly as they adjust to wearing them but once they get used to it, they do just fine. Minnesota winters can be brutal and this helps keep them comfortable.
Super cute!
This looks great on my miniature Schnauzer Shih-tzu mix. I ordered her a bunch of different sweaters and this one fits a little smaller than some of the others but it fits her perfect. It's like it doesn't have as much stretch in it to get it on and off as some of the others. Luckily she doesn't fight putting a sweater on as she loves looking cute in her sweaters.

Fashion Pet Lookin Good Classic Cable Sweater for Dogs, Medium, Black

Great little sweater
It has been a challenge for me to find a basic sweater for my little guy so I was happy when I found this in his size and for such a great price. It's light enough for him to wear on our morning walks here in Southern California.
Dog's love it
Bought this for one of my dogs that loves sweaters. The straps on the legs made it really nice. My dog has a tendency to chew his rear end because of consistent heat rashes and he is allergic to fleas and grass. This straps close to his tail and prevented him from chewing and allowed for his fur to grow back in. It worked great, until he rolled around too much and stretched out the neck. Some washing and drying will shrink it back up, but he can get this off in a matter of a day or two now. The straps are not good, however, for dogs with anxiety disorders.

My other dog that we put one of these on chewed through the straps in a matter of 10 minutes. He suffers from high anxiety and the sweaters help, but he was confused by the straps around his legs. They weren't interfering with any urinating or defecation and left his boy bits alone completely, but they were bothering him I suppose. We had to tie it and it became a little too tight.

The cut is just right for...
Good fit at a good price!
measured our dog as they described and the sweater is good weight and a great fit! Very affordable and washable too!

Very cute sweater
I love this sweater so much for my little dog that I bought one for my larger dog also. Super cute and I think this one fits true to size. It's definitely stretch enough to easily get on and off your pooch.

Pink Fashion Pet Bone Patch Cable Dog Sweater
I love the look of this sweater. I ordered two for my ShihTzus. I ordered one in pink and the other in blue. Unfortunatly, when it arrived I noticed it was a bit smallish.

I tried it on my ShihTzu/Pekingnese Darby and it was really just too small. I ordered a medium (16"). The label says it's a medium and fits 14"-16".

When I measured the actual garment, it was just under 12". If you like the look of this particular brand, order one size up because they run small.

I will reorder a large when the blue one arrives. This is the third item I have ordered from this maker (Fashion Pet) and each item measured significantly less than their garment tags.

Are they not measuring their own products. All you need is a tape measure to check the size before labeling. The shipping cost are terrible and I hate returning things because it costs me time, money, and gas.

I ordered the larger sizes but I had to...
Not a dog-sweater person, but my dogs are sweater-dogs. *sigh*
I've never been one to dress up my two dachshunds (one long-haired black and tan 10 lbs and one red short-haired 15 lbs.) However, my long-haired baby came home from the vet with one on and she never wants to take it off. When we pull it out, she jumps into it. Okay, okay - I got it. We own sweater-dogs. FINE.

So, I ordered two sweaters originally - one for each of them. The extra-small for my 10 pounder and small for my 15 pounder. Did not work as I planned. The little one fit the small and I had to re-order a medium for my short-hair baby.

They fit great, they wash up great, the button detail on the front is adorable, as with the bone on the back. I recommend these sweaters - they are super cute and a good value!
My dog loves this sweater.
My Chihuahua has a prominent chest bone and his front legs are wide set. Sweaters and clothes usually pull and slip low on hist chest bone and look bad. This still does not pull funny. He looks very handsome. And it stay away from his you know so he doesn't potty on it. No leg straps either. I hate leg straps. This is a winner. Wish it was also in black or grey. This blue looks great on his fawn body color. Dashing!

Sizing
This is suppose to be a xsmall, but I think it's too big for a xsmall The sweater is nice it's just I'm starting to have sizing issues with East Side.. but since it's too big, maybe it will fit oneday.
Perfect for my little Chihuahua
I actually bought three different "East Side" sweaters and I like them all. They all seem to be very well made. Please note, that the "teacup" size is very small, and will probably only fit little runts like mine or a puppy. :) I have a 2.5lb chihuahua who needs to wear sweaters throughout winter. Often, I even have to put two sweaters on her (or a sweater and a coat) because some sweaters don't provide enough warmth. Fortunately, this sweater is thick enough to stand up to most winter weather all on it's own. It is very cute, soft, and thick. It has cotton leg straps in it to keep it in place, but I just tuck them under the sweater. My dog is happy to wear sweaters when its cold and it stays on fine without them.

Chilly Dog Boyfriend Dog Sweater, X-Large

Wool sweater
This is a fabulous sweater but my 40-lb miniature Aussie shouldn't have needed an X-large. Sizing is way off but the sweater is extremely well made, fits perfectly, and should be really warm on bitter cold winter days. A harness will fit over it. The 'shawl' neckline is a must as most dogs like smelling everything in sight during a walk. Turtlenecks don't allow this. Riley looks quite dapper in his new winter-wear! I would highly recommend this sweater for someone looking for a well-made, wool, natural product.
Rough yarn. Not for hairless, or fine-haired dogs.
We had to send this back because the yarn was very scratchy and actually had artifacts like leaves woven into it. It would be fine for dogs with plenty of fur (in armpits as well as chest/back). I wouldn't put it on a dog with delicate skin. The style is cute and we love the look of the sweaters online, we just weren't able to make it work for us. It would have been nice to know up front that these can be very rough, it would have saved us some time.
I wish I had one for myself.
Looks so good I wish I could get one for myself. High quality craftsmanship. Definitely worth a little more than the junk at the big box pet stores.

Chilly Dog Boyfriend Dog Sweater, Large

Good workmanship, perhaps a bit undersized
I purchased the large size, with an upper limit of 40 pounds. Our dogs are in the mid and high 30's and found the fit to be tight. The dogs seemed very excited wearing these sweaters though this is likely the novelty of the experience (this is their first winter garment). We enjoy seeing them in the sweaters as well. Do they keep the dogs more comfortable? Maybe, I asked them to write this review but all they wrote was gibberish and then they closed the browser.
100% Wool!
Not only is this sweater absolutely adorable, it's actually handmade and 100% wool! It's difficult to find any dog sweaters that aren't made out of acrylic, which doesn't warm or breathe adequately. The sweaters run big, so order smaller than you think you need. They keep their shape well over time, just treat them well, and they'll do the same for your pup!

This is possibly the cutest wool doggie sweater I have ever seen. I thought it might be poorly made, but it's not. It's lovely and warm and looks really well made.

Great Sweater
We love the sweater! Well-made and durable, it gives our yorkiepoo the extra she needs during the winter. Only negative is that it doesn't have a slot for the leash to attach to a harness.

Poor Quality
I bought the more expensive 100% wool sweater thinking it would be sturdier and warmer. However, it was very loosely knitted and came apart the first time my dog wore it. You can see through it if you stretch it a little. The arms ripped all the way down and the collar stretched out so much that it was falling off, but it was a perfect fit when I put it on him. Not too loose, not to tight. The different colors of yard were not tied into the sweater and was unraveling. I spent almost 3 hours sewing this back together and I still have to work on the collar. My dog has never had a problem with any other sweater. I won't buy this brand again.
