Perfect dish for home and travel
We are a Foreign Service family and move and travel often. This dish is perfect. It is high quality and folds down flat so that we can easily fit it into a suitcase. It is also better for our dog as it is an elevated dish. We use this as our dogs main food dish.
Perfect
I really like the color combo of this foldable feed bowl set. Its made just fine, easy to clean, easy to set up for travel but mostly we just use it for his every day set. Everything about it is just fine, it's just that our spaniel apparently doesn't like to eat his food out of such a deep dish. He won't eat if we put the food actually in the bowl. We actually thought he was sick. If I flatten the food side and put a shallow (3/4") bowl on it, he gobbles up his food just fine.

Casual Canine Polyester The North Paw Puffy Dog Vest, Medium, Black

Minimal padding.
I purchased this because I have a short hair dog, and I live in New England. It gets very cold here, and he will often shiver. There is so little poly-fill in this, that it's pretty much useless. I actually took it apart and put in more poly-fill. I also put in a small opening between the collar and the body for my dog's leash to go through so when he's on his leash it doesn't pull the collar of the coat off his neck.

This is good if you live in an area where it gets mildly chilly, but if you live where you might see penguins on snow drifts.. look for something better.

Or if you are looking for "my dog looks cute in it" more than "practical and useful" you might like this.
Very warm
The vest is very warm which is great. The workmanship is superb with tight stitches that don't tear and plenty of Velcro on the underside. I did need to shorten the length to fit my terrier mix that weighs 12 lbs, but is a long dog, thus needing this size vest. Highly recommend this company.

Authentic Puppia Vivien Harness, Royal, Medium

Great option!
We love these harnesses, such a better choice than collars. We only use these when we go for walks with our dogs- don't think we would keep them on our dogs for extended time periods as we did their collars. These harnesses are easy to put on and remove quickly.
So Cuuuute!
These harnesses are very well made and sturdy. I bought this for one of my Bichons Frises and she is 16 lbs. It fits well. I let it out with the slide buckle that is on the harness. I bought a red one for her sister and they are my red, white and blue babies.

Super Cute!
I bought this for my little Yorkie for Halloween and it is the cutest thing ever!
It fit well, and I'm assuming it was comfortable for her cuz she didn't try to take it off and was her usual happy self, running around and playing in it.
The little wings are super cute and are attached well, and the colors are so beautiful and vibrant.
I like it but....
I bought size M for my standard poodle, fits big, I have to fix it :( usually that is the size my dogs use. Other than that it is very pretty.
Cute Doggie Costume
I loved this outfit for my dog Meka. She looked like an innocent little fairy and my little one is not innocent. She likes to explore and keep this puppy parent busy. The costume fit perfectly and the wings stayed out of her. As she gets older, Meka doesn't like hates and any frilly stuff so this worked out fine.

Contech EatBetter Dog Bowl, Medium, Pink

Works pretty well!
Had gottent this dish a while back for my little terrier who likes to snarf her food. Got this one for my lab to slow her eating down a little. Works pretty well for her. Makes her take smaller bites and chew more than eating out of her regular bowl. I really like the fact that the bowls are made of food quality plastic and you can put them in the dishwasher. Great product!
Poor construction, slides all over the floor
I bought this bowl to counter the problems I have with the "Brake Fast" brand, of similar design. The Contech stated it had no slip functionality -- that is does not slide on the tile floor while your dog eats from it. Well, mine showed up with 2 of the rubber feet missing and it slides all of the place. It also quite small. Suggest that until Contech and or the other leading "slow down and eat" bowl makers get a clue that these things slide all of the floor -- and do something about it (like put a real rubber no slip ring around the entire bowl bottom perimeter), that you will need to modify the bowl not to slide around.

This bowl stays put on a mat and does not move around the floor.
It washes easy and is good for short muzzeled dogs.

Comfy Cone Pet E-Collar, Medium, Black

The Comfy Cone
My dog had surgery that was going to require almost a month of the use of an e-collar while the leg healed. The first few days I tried to use the "more comfortable than the old ones" e-collar that the vet provided. My dog was more distressed by the e-collar than the surgery because it was so big and had no flexibility at all. Also, I think because it is see through it confuses the dogs more because they can see things but then bump into them!

I found the Comfy Cone online in an article by someone whose dog had the same surgery and the same issues with the vet-provided e-collar. From the moment I put it on my dog he has been GREAT with it! The cone is not as big as a plastic e-collar and I was afraid my dog may still be able to get to his leg, but he never tried and it is big enough to make attempts very difficult. The cone is very flexible so he can sleep in total comfort. Even though he does not have the ability to see out of the sides like the plastic, I think it is...
Good product, but the sizes are odd....
Great product, but the sizes are really odd. I tried the small and it was too small for a 10 lb dog, so I ordered the medium which looks like it's more for a 50 lb dog. There isn't anything in the middle. It would have been great, but the types of dogs that it will fit (according to the product description) did not seem accurate. Thankfully, I purchased through Amazon, so the return was easy. I just wish they had a size in between the small and the medium for a 10 - 20 lb dog.
Totally Recommended
I'd recommend this cone before anything else. Our dog (laborador)can actually see around this flexible cone. You can't beat it for the price. You can wash it when it gets dirty and it seems to keep it's shape. Our dog hasn't been able to get it off or reach his hot spots. We regret spending $50 on an inflatable, blue round tube that makes him look like he's ready to dive off into the lake. Not to mention he was able to get to his hot spots with this blue tube. The comfy cone is definitely the way to go.

Doggles ILS Medium Pink Frame and Pink Lens

my baby is safe and looks cool!
These are easy to put on but you need to follow the instructions to acclimate your dogs to the feeling. My dog routinely runs into brush and stabs herself in the eyes... she now happily wears the Doggles when racing through the back yard with her bro. No more vet visits!
If only the dog would wear them
Product seems well designed and constructed, but the dog finds a way to get them off within 30 seconds. I need to find the happy medium between loose enough that they won't irritate her and tight enough to stay on.

Two different sizes and still not a proper fit. (3.5 stars)
I've been using these belly bands for over a month now. Our 8 year old Cockapoo has a real pee problem and has destroyed $$$ worth of rugs and damaged hardwood.
Having written a favorable review a bit too soon previously, to be honest I feel I needed to change my review and knock at least a star and a half off of this product.

I bought 5 of these belly bands. Three small and two medium. My Cockapoo weighs about 15 or 16 lbs, so the first ones I bought, I bought according to the recommended size for his measurements which was a small. The small will go around him but appears to be too tight and especially if we add a thin sanitary pad. (women's) If I don't utilize all of the velcro it doesn't stay hooked. This means really no room for adjustment to make the small roomier because it has to be on it's "tightest setting"
I then ordered two size mediums. The mediums, even with two thin sanitary pads stacked on top of each other, are a bit too large. With...

Handsome boy
Really like this on my handsome boy. It is however...a little thick for a summer shirt. My dogs are inside with A/C so I do keep them dressed. When we head outside I gauge the weather and the kind of shirt I've got on him as to whether to keep it on him or not. This shirt in 80+ weather? I'd take it off, which is funny, because you'd assume it was a summer weight shirt. I'd still buy it again though...so whatever.

Avenue Design Retractable Tape Leash for Dogs, Black, Medium, 16 Feet

Very Nice Leash, but has a minor flaw
This leash is very nice, it fits very well in the hand and it is plenty long without being too long. There are two locking mechanisms, one which stays on as long as you press it in and another which is a permanent lock. The temporary lock is very nice as you can stop your dog quick if you need too, but then let it go and give it the full length again very quickly. The permanent lock is the only drawback, it is very stiff and poorly designed as it gets stuck and is hard to turn on and off. However I find the temporary lock is all that I ever need so I don't even worry about using the permanent lock. All in all I'd recommend this leash.
Great leash, but watch out -wrong size descriptions on webpage!!!
I gave it 5 stars because it is a great leash, if you get the correct size! However, I ordered M size because the webpage says suitable up to 35 pounds, when it arrived it says on it suitable up to 65 pounds( 30 kg). These descriptions are mixing up kg with pounds! So, I had to return my leash for a refund, and have to make a new order now!

Sherpa on Wheel Dog Carrier Bag, Medium, Black

Not all airlines accept this carrier
This review is for the MEDIUM size carrier, but if you're looking for an "airline approved" carrier, you should read it.
First of all, there is no such thing as and "airline approved" carrier. Here's why. Airlines are capricious about what carriers they will allow, this varies from flight to flight, and it has nothing to do with their written policies or the kind of plane you're in. If the flight attendants decide it doesn't fit under the seat, and they vary in their opinions about this, you can't fly with it. I had taken my dog in his wheeled Sherpa (medium) carrier on 15 trips in the 18 months I had the carrier, on US Air, AirTran, United, and Frontier (before Frontier quit allowing in-cabin pets). Most of the trips were on AirTran. But on an AirTran flight last year there were four people with pets on the plane, all with the same size Sherpa carriers (mine was the only one with wheels, and btw the wheels don't make the carrier that much taller, and the carrier will squish down...
Smaller than advertised
I just received this Sherpa pet carrier for an upcoming flight. Although it is well designed and built, it is much smaller than advertised. The dimensions that are listed are the exterior dimensions and not the interior dimensions. The problem is that the wheels that from underneath and pad inside of the carrier take up 2.5 inches of room. And the exterior length is an inch shorter than listed. Not bad if your pet is smaller than those measurements, but important to consider when buying. I am going to opt for a carry model by sherpa instead of the wheeled version. The larger wheeled version is pushing the limits of the recommended size by the airlines (and is not in stock anyhow). Well built, nice looking and an instant hit for my pooch, but just to confining for her size. My Papillion is 11' high and under 9 pounds with a length of 16". I measured 17" long x 11" wide by 8" tall on the interior.
Sherpa On-Wheels Pet Carrier - Medium
Its the ONLY way to fly with your small or medium pet
I am a pembroke welsh corgi breeder. I fly to dog shows quite frequently. I HATE to fly them down below. First it's risky, you never know for sure what will happen to the pet, second it's expensive. My corgis are pretty big around thirty lbs and I get them in this bag. No they can't stretch out but being cramped for a few hours is beter than being totally scared in the belly of the plane. I am there with them and give them cool water and treats. For heavy dogs the wheels are a must. YES the bag CAN tip over I STRONGLY suggets you get your dog used to the bag, which means put them in and out of the bag, wheel them around and tip them over. Give them LOT'S of treats in the bag, they will be great flyers. I have never had a dog come out of the bag in pain, or looking like a pretzel. After years of travel with many corgis, I noticed that the bottom has started to wear and the wheels are now misshapen. I'm sure thats from lot's of hard use, so after probably ten or so years of using this...

easy to use
i just used this today. i walked my three dogs to the mailbox and back. it worked great. the only problem i had was i have two dachshunds and a toy poodle and the dachshunds are in the lead and the toy poodle is expected to keep up and she had a little struggle with it so i made it a short walk. this is not the couplers fault. so when you use this coupler, it's probably best to use three dogs or cats of the same size.

I could not find a three way lead anywhere else. It is great quality & strong for my large dogs @ 120# each. I love it thanks! P.S. it works well with three different size dogs also ie: Giant Schnauzer & Yorkie & Queensland Heeler all at once. Quite the muttly crew!

Bought this as a gift. The dog is only 9 pounds, and the small seemed to fit will, but it was tighter than I thought it would be based on the size chart. She looked great in it though and she will be wearing it on the beach this summer!

Great product. I love the idea of having a swim shirt for my pup so he doesn't get burnt...however, this shirt doesn't cover his stomach at all (you can see that the front is shorter than the back). This makes it kind of useless as his belly is what I want protected the most cause that is where he has the least amount of fur.
Way Too Small
I have a small dog, under 20 pounds. She is only 13 inches tall and 15 inches long with a 20 inch chest. We ordered a LARGE shirt. It was way too small, stretched to fit her and was tight around her chest and neck. In returning this item, there is no drop down comment for incorrect sizing and I was charged $5.00. If I had chosen the wrong size, paying $5 would be fine. But come on - I selected LARGE. It should have been too big. This shirt would be fine for Yorkie-size.

Pug in his Doggles
I purchased these Doggles for my Pug who has moved to a home on a lake. He will be boating and in the sun a lot, and he needed some eye protection. He looks great in them, and so cute too!
