Super Cute for Mochie!
I bought this for my brother's dog, Mochie. She is a 3 year-old German Shepherd. When she is up visiting "grandma and grandpa" at their lake home in the woods, there is a lot a space to explore! I bought this for her as an extra slip-on coller when she goes outside at night. She looks ADORABLE in her flahing pink lights when she is in the dark near the Christmas lights!
The lights do show up very well from quite a distance. The only reason it isn't five stars is because, by design, the lights only cover about 60 - 65 percent of the collar. So if it shifts you may not see any lights on one side of the dog. This is a problem if she turns and the dark side is facing us. Then we can't see her.
Good value, some issues but worth buying.
I bought this on sale for about $14 instead of the full price of $30, and it was definitely worth the sales price. It is really nice to be able to see the dog at the park, since it gets dark so early. My only gripes are that the lights could be brighter (you really only see the individual lights, not the full stripe around the collar), and that it is too easy to turn off. The dogs play with each other and easily bump the button to turn the collar off. Still, several of us at the park we usually go to have them, and we are generally happy with them.
Great Dog Collar.
We have a black dog who is really hard to see at night. This collar is so bright, you can see him on the darkest of nights. I feel better knowing cars will be able to see him and slow down in plenty of time.
