ProSelect Stainless Steel Pet Cage Coop Cup, 8-Ounce

Great for crates
I bought both sizes. Smaller for a puppy in a crate, and larger now that the pup is getting bigger. (Lab) They work great for me. Easy to install. They stay put. Pup has to really work at it to spill them. [He has never been able to completely remove the dish from the holder. Can refill through screen with a watering can. Are just simple, but work slick.
Great for Ferrets!
I wanted stainless steel food dishes that sat lower than the standard locking food cups for my ferrets, for use on the door of a (cat-sized) hard plastic travel crate. (A smaller crate might require 10 or 12 oz dishes.) By mounting the holder rings upside down, this causes the bowls to wedge into the ring tighter, and thus defeats all ferret efforts to spill the contents. They've never managed it even once, but it's still easy for me to remove the bowls for cleaning and refilling. (Because there isn't a tab on the bottom of these bowls they also sit flat on the counter!) I'm much happier with these proportions and this look. I also have four 20 oz versions in our Ferret Nation 142 cage. Love 'em!
No more spills! Economical, durable.
I decided to invest in these crate bowls after the dogs in my grooming business kept knocking over their food and water dishes and spoiling their freshly washed coats. These coop cups did just the trick. The screw on the back is quite difficult to remove (it seems like a machine screws them on and they were not threaded correctly), but once that is out of the way, it's quick and easy to securely fasten the cups to the crate. I put mine on the crate doors so I can easily clean and refill them when I open the door.
