Dog coat brown color
This coat is made well. The fabric is soft and the color is true to it online color. The reason I gave it 3 stars is they only made you measure the length of the dog. I have two dogs. Who are the same size in length. The difference is in their girth. Because of this the coat fits perfect on my one dog, but the other it's too big around the girth so she walks out of the coat. This company should tell you if your dogs girth is 14 in it will fit perfect. If its smaller than that which my second dogs girth is 12 it won't fit. And you can't make it smaller cause its Velcro closing. Companies who sell dog coats should ask you for the girth size as this is very important to a well fit for your dog. Hope they change their order status.
Cute, runs small
Well made, but thin. I am replacing this with another dog hoodie because it seems to be a warmer material and he likes it, fits nice. This coat fits length wise but girth is too small. My chi is 8 lbs. and I ordered a small, should have ordered a medium.
Description Lacking
I think they need to revise the description for this item. For instance, it isn't clear that:
1. You have to put the dog's front legs into sleeves (albeit short ones).
2. "Velcro on the belly" means all the way down like a zip-up jacket. I envisioned it as being a velcro belly belt like on a previous coat for my dog.
Lastly, the Product description states the large size is fit for, among other breeds, a bulldog. This led me to believe it would fit my young pit bull who weighs 41 lbs. But it doesn't fit around her chest and belly (and she isn't fat by any means).
Although I returned the coat because of the above issues, it is cute and appears to be fairly nicely made.
