Doggles Dog Backpack, Extreme XXS, Blue/Gray

Great durable little pack
I just exchanged my XS extreme blue and gray backpack for the XXS. My dog is a skinny schnoodle with a 19" girth. I bought the XS since 17" was at the bottom of its size range, that way I would have room for adjustments. Unfortunately, while the pack did fit, it was overall too large for my dog. The pack would slip off over her head easily when pulled forward by the leash, and the pouches were too bulky for her slender frame.
I decided to exchange for the XXS size, whose max fit is 19" girth. Though the smaller pack size was PERFECT, the girth strap was not. When I tried it on, the girth strap was an inch too small, even after taking off the extra plastic adjustment bits to give it as much length as possible. I ended up un-stitching one side of the strap and re-sewing it to give another inch. This modification fit perfectly! I can tell my dog is much more comfortable with this smaller size and, unlike with the XS, she doesn't waddle awkwardly trying to adjust to the pack on her...
Super Cute
Super cute carrier, perfect for very small dogs. I would recommend the xxs for the smallest of dogs, an xs for something like a shih tzu or other similarly small dogs. Great to carry a bag of their treats or waste bags. Could even fit a very small bottle of milk, just make sure to load each side equally, else it will be tilted to one side, and not very comfy for the dog.

One reason I have not given this more than three stars through is that the zippers are a big problematic, not very easy to open and close, although this may also be due to the size. The material is a bit cheaper than what I would have expected, although it should be waterproof (have not tried), I do not like the treatment on the inside near the zipper, there is some plastic type material, possibly one of the reasons for the zipper issue.

All that is not the worst though, given that this is one of the very few backpacks you can get for very small dogs! and gives your pooch some more purpose on...
Just what I wanted
I was looking for a backpack for my 10lb min pin to give him extra exercise on our walks. This works great for that. The pockets are small but hold what I need them to - some weights, waste bags, key, money, id, etc. This size works well for him (he could probable wear the XS too but this is fine) and he loves to wear it - it does not seem to bother him at all. It stays even on his back throughout the walk. The straps are adjustable so they fit is big chest great - a lot of dog products are not made for the min pin (or doberman) body with the big chest. I would definitely recommend this to other dog owners who need to exercise their dogs a little more or whose dogs love to work like mine.
