Rubit may not be the solution for active dogs
I have 2 active dogs, one medium and the other large, that love to run, wrestle and play tag. I ordered these Rubit switch clips for both (one medium, one large). I had been looking for something that would allow me to easily remove their tags, but at the same time safely and securely hang their ID and rabies tag. I had seen another manufacturers' product, but when I went to look at their reviews I saw that many people complained about lost tags so I decided to keep looking. I then checked Amazon and found the Rubit and was able to track down some review of people that said it worked well for them. Well, I still have both Rubits, however one set of tags disappeared within 3 weeks. The ring they were on that attaches to (and came with) the Rubit is gone along with the 2 tags on it! I'm sad to say this was not the solution for me and mine and I will need to keep looking. Any ideas anyone? The reason I want something is because they play rough and get dirty and the hound girl...
Worked well, then broke
Helpful little gizmo. We used ours to secure tags on a large dog. Did job well until one day, after perhaps 1.5 months use, I pushed to unsnap it and the clipping part of mechanism twisted sideways and broke off, rendering it unusable. Needs beefier construction, but concept is good.
Updated: Communication from seller: Likely my clip was from a lot hit with a manufacturing issue. Will replace if I call them. Those quality issues have been resolved.
I haven't taken time to contact seller, but will do so, and wanted to update my rating to reflect my appreciation. Any seller that takes the time to: 1. Respond to complaints, and 2. Make efforts to fix it with the customer keeps my business and gets my appreciation! As stated earlier, the device is clever and worked well with our dog. I'll be pleased to try another of them.
High quality!
Makes it so easy to swap from harness to collar without futzing with all the tags. Not noisy at all!
