Pet Gear Sportster Pet Stroller for cats and dogs up to 45-pounds, Lilac

fantastic stroller
The stroller concept seemed perfect for me since I can use it for 2 dogs (32 lbs for both) while the third can walk along side the stroller. I did a lot of research before opting for "Sportster" stroller. The front wheel design sold me as it is perfect for slow jogs and works particularly well on grass. The front wheels can both swivel or be locked in place with a flick of a lever on the bottom. The locking brake is activated by a foot lever and the stroller is very compact when folded.

Pets can be loaded both through the back when the top is closed or through the open top. Inside, you'll find plenty of viewing windows, a removable botom liner, and a seat belt of sorts where you can hook a harness. The nylon fabric, netting and zippers are all heavy duty and should be able to withstand a lot of wear and tear. The bottom basket is made of the same fabric and heavy duty netting as the body, and the back bar snaps down slightly so you can load bigger items and then snaps back...
Very nice stroller for the money!
I bought this stroller for my 5 year-old cocker spaniel, Jenny, who went blind this last winter. She had been having difficulty on our walks but I felt guilty leaving her at home, so after looking at several different strollers, I purchased this one.

It's a great stroller for her! She is 29 pounds and fits perfectly in it, with room to lay down if she wanted to. It's very solid and she seems very comfortable in it; we zip around in it everywhere we go. I like the basket at the bottom to put poop bags, extra leash, sweater, and anything else. The cup holders on top are also very nice. It handles very well on the streets and side walks in our area, giving Jenny a fairly smooth ride. It goes across the grass ok but I'm not sure that I would want to do that for any length of time as you can really feel the bumps. I like the idea of being able to zip the stroller closed but have not used that feature as Jenny prefers to 'look' around while on our walks. It was easy to assemble...
Perfect solution for elderly dog
Our 20 year old chi loves to get out with us but can no longer walk too far. The pet stroller has turned out to be a great solution. He loves to ride in it! Sitting up looking alert and happy during our mornings hour long walks he enjoys the views and smells. We have also used it when we are out in crowds and around large dogs to put our rat terrier/chi in when she gets nervous. Plenty of room for the two. We keep a blanket on the bottom to cushion it and keep him from skidding
around.

I feel it is well built, easy to steer, easy to put up and down. The zipper took me awhile to get the hang of but now it pulls easily. Plenty of room underneath to hold what we need.

Be Prepared for strange looks and rude comments....usually from non-dog people or
mothers pushing babies in strollers. Dog people look at my old one eyed guy and
smile with compassion that he can get out and is loved so much.

If you have a dog that has a hard time getting...
