DoggyRide Novel Dog Bike Trailer, Outdoors Green

Daily Rider
I was a bike commuter until I got a dog and started bringing him to work with me.....since new corgi puppies don't really do 8 miles a day on pavement. So I bought a bare-bones bike trailer for dogs to see if it would allow me to bike to work with the dog. It did.

Then I realized that the bare-bones trailer was missing some key features that would make me WANT to bike to work with the dog EVERY DAY - like a kickstand, and a well-integrated safety flag, and somewhere to put the dog's kit and my office clothes and my lunch and maybe some groceries should want to pick some up on the way home.

And so I found a buyer for my bare-bones trailer and bought the DoggyRide Novel. It's well-constructed - when you assemble the cabin you have to apply some pressure, but that's because once assembled the cover is tight like a drum. No tools needed - everything locks together with detent pins and quick-releases. The whole thing is sturdy and tight, rolls smoothly, is...
Great Ride For My Pooch
I have experienced several emotions since purchasing this trailer a month ago. I've gone from "omg...this is the best thing ever" to "this thing sucks" to "okay, my dog is happy so I am happy". Overall, I like this trailer quite a bit but I would probably like any decent trailer out there that's big enough for my dog to enjoy the outdoors with me.

For reference, Toby is a 12 year old lab that weights 70lb, girth 32", body length 28", and 24" from front paws to back paws. My main concern was finding something that was comfortable for him to lie down in so I needed a trailer that was big enough but not too high for him to step into since he has bad hips. I was only able to see in person the Croozer and the Burley at my local REI. The Croozer was way too small and when I pushed on the back end of the floor, the front end flipped up pretty badly. That was a big no! I liked the Burley but one thing that bugged me was how the front couldn't be opened all the way, only the back. I...
What I got isn't quite what I expected.
First off, is this a great Dog trailer? Yes, it is.
Would I buy this trailer again? Yes, I would.
I already own the 'small' DoggyRide trailer, and love it, but need the larger trailer to bring both dogs on a ride at the same time.

I am unhappy, and rated the trailer only three stars for the following reasons;

I ordered my DoggyRide trailer on 06/04/13, received it on 06/06/13 - great job Amazon! And wrote this review on 06/08/13

In the picture it shows four small black plastic 'feet', mine did not come with any. So using the trailer as a 'crate' on hardwood flooring is out.

Both in the description (two places), as well as in one review, rain screens for the side windows (that zip in and out) was mentioned, my unit neither came with said covers, nor are there any zippers to zip anything into.
