XS Fit is good, balanced and seems pretty rugged.
Got the XS Doggles Dog Backpack for my Wire Fox Terrier. She's got lots of energy to burn and leaves momma & me way behind on our walks, so she needed to work a little harder. I read all the reviews of the other dog back packs and while this one only had 13 reviews, they were pretty glowing. None of the "poor quality" "ripped right away" etc. complaints. (As far as I can tell, the weakest part are the zippers, so we'll see how long they last.) Decided to spend 3X the dollars for one with a good fit and that's what I got. The pack sits well on her back and balances over her shoulders nicely. It has padded chest & girth straps and cinches down well over her 19" girth (with room to cinch down more) The packs hold way more than I would want for my 20 pound dog, so be careful you don't overload them. I would not recommend clipping the leash to the d-ring on the pack, as it makes the pack shift weirdly if they pull. Use your "gentle leader" or the collar. Overall, I'm happy, Poppy doesn't...
Well made backpack but size XS is HUGE!
I wish there were a size between the XXS and the XS. It is absolutely ridiculous how HUGE this is, compared to the tiny XXS. I will look elsewhere for a pack to fit my 14lb dog.
Great size for my Maltese-Poodle
I wasn't sure if this would fit the little guy but it works. I had to tape up the excess strap on the underbelly part but otherwise it's the right size. I got this for my very hyperactive 1 yr old maltipoo when we go on walks to wear him out more. I tried putting bottle water but it seems to be too heavy. So I put in two cups of rice in ziploc bags on either side and it's a good weight load for him
I'd give it a 5 star but with the excess strap that I had to fix was the only drawback.
