Avenue Design Retractable Tape Leash for Dogs, Blue, X-Large, 19 Feet

Retractable Dog Leash
This dog leash is strong and dependable. I have 60 pound strong dog, the thumb control button that stops the leash when he pulls has no problem holding him back. I would definitely buy again if needed.
Best dog leash ever
I had originally found one of these at Ocean State Job Lot (an "overstock" type discount store) years ago dirt cheap, so wasn't expecting much. It is the best dog leash I've ever owned, and I was glad to see they are still available. Given where I had first bought it and the unfamiliar name, I figured it was a mongrel brand I'd never find again. I used this leash for my 120-pound Labrador for years with no issues. The retraction is smooth and never jams after thousands of uses, it is comfortable to hold and can be operated with one hand. The tape is reflective and strong. I now have a much smaller dog (30 pound terrier) but like using this bigger leash for him, too. The smaller ones I've had don't fit comfortably in a man's hand. I would recommend the larger leash, especially since there is very little difference in price. Also, this leash seems to have some features that the smaller ones do not. My leash retractor finally broke after five years, so here I am buying another one...
Best there is
We bought this brand a few years back and it's still in great working order and it has taken a beating (not to mention serious pulling) so we decided to get another one for our new bulldog. We probably only needed the leash weighted for up to 50 lbs or so, but figured one size up might be best if we end up with a bigger dog like a mastiff. Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if the leash weighted up to 50-65 pounds wouldn't still do the trick. The brand "Avenue" is none like the others and somewhat hard to find but worth every penny. These leashes are very strong and very durable as we have accidentally dropped it or on occasions it has been smashed or banged around and its still in smooth working order, no problems.
